My son is full of intense energy lately. It is powerful. And I often feel challenged. Throwing things, eating like cookie monster, running away in glee...the things I am struggling with. May my boy have patience with me; may I have patience with my boy.

I'm totally there with you sister. Jude is on fire these days. Fortunately, before he was born, I got my very spazzy dog.
I was a little shocked to learn that many of the same dog energy reduction techniques work on my little guy. Chasing a ball, long walks and swimming work like a charm. I do, however, draw the line at sharing the chew toys.
